The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Professional qualification - CA, CS, CMA (with a minimum of 50% marks) in addition to a bachelor's degree (with at least 55% marks).
OR
A four-year / eight-semester bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 65% marks or its equivalent.
A 1-year/2-semester Master's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 60% marks in aggregate after a 4 year/8-semester bachelor's degree programme (Full Time) or a 2-year/4-semester Master's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 60% marks after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed. Candidates applying based on Master’s degree programme should have at least 2 years of professional experience after master’s degree.
OR
A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree programme (Full Time) should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on point scale wherever the grading system is followed. Candidates applying based on Bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience after Bachelor’s degree.
Our institute follows the guidelines outlined in Office Memorandum (O.M.) No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019, issued by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, regarding revised emoluments for research personnel under R&D programs funded by Central Government Departments/Agencies. In accordance with these guidelines, eligible scholars in our programs receive financial assistance in the form of a monthly stipend of ₹37,000 for Junior Research Fellows (JRF) (Ph.D. students with two years or less of research) and ₹42,000 for Senior Research Fellows (SRF) (Ph.D. students with more than two years of research). This initiative underscores our commitment to promoting research excellence and providing robust support to our scholars in their academic endeavors.

Candidates must have at least 4 years (and less than 10 years) full-time industrial experience across domains such as manufacturing, operations, consulting, as on the last date of submission of application as prescribed in the advertisement.
