Day 1:

Plant layout Design: Heuristics - Computerized relative allocation of facilities technique (CRAFT); Automated layout design program (ALDEP); Computerized relationship layout planning (CORELAP). Warehouse Layout design - Manufacturing Warehouse; Pharmaceutical Warehouse; Fulfilment centre layout design.  

Factory Modelling: Manufacturing Process – Product, Process and Flexible Manufacturing Process. Production planning - Material requirement and Planning; Master Production Schedule; Design of Experiments – TAGUCHI. Manufacturing Network Design – Social Network Analysis.  

Day 2:

Factory Analytics: Time Series Analysis - Machine performance; Bottle necks. Machine Learning: Predictive maintenance forecasting; Remaining useful life (RUL); Man-machine movement using A* algorithm.  

Factory Simulations and Digital Twins: Manufacturing process simulations and digital twins using FLEXSIM, ANYLOGISTIX, EXCEL, MATLAB and PYTHON tools.

2. Refund policy

   Fees once paid can be adjusted for 1 financial year against future nominations only. In case a course is canceled on account of inadequate participation or any other unforeseeable reasons, the participants will be informed of the cancellation by e-mail or Fax and the fee will be refunded. IIM Mumbai will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the company or the participant. Any transaction fee will not be refunded.
