Warehouse Automation and Management

Warehousing, Logistics & Transportation play a vital role in driving trade and economic growth for the nation. Key initiatives like the PM Gati Shakti Master Plan, National Logistics Policy and Vikasit Bharat, stress on the need to have integrated solutions for supply chain management, wherein warehousing plays a key role in connecting different legs of transportation, thus, providing opportunities for consolidation, break-bulk, storage, cross-docking and many other value-adding activities that enable industrial symbiosis and customer satisfaction.

The Warehousing sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 19% by FY 2026 (Ernst & Young). Growth of e-commerce and the retailing industry have provided a great boost to the development of the sector, while new initiatives in Cold Storage and the development of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks call for a more synergistic approach to developing the sector. There is also a large amount of interest from the government and the private sector to modernize the industry.

Opportunities for improvement lie in infrastructure upgradation, standardization of operations, digital transformation, automation, robust investment plans, upskilling and collaborative business practices.

Join this course to learn more about how we can transform the warehousing sector for the country.
